Aengus et la jeune fille cygne

Français: Un jour, Aengus tombe amoureux d'une jolie jeune fille, la même que celle qui hante ses rêves depuis longtemps. Avec l'aide de son père, il cherche son nom, et finit par découvrir que c'est la fille d'Ethal Anubal , un prince de l'Autre Monde de Connacht, et qu'elle se prénomme Caer. Le Dagda et Aengus partent alors dans leurs chars pour aller demander la main de cette jeune beauté. A leur arrivée, Ethal leur annonce que Caer est plus puissante qu'Aengus, et que celui-ci devra la conquérir sans aucune aide. Toutefois, Ethal est contraint de révéler que sa fille vit en alternance une année sous la forme d'une femme et l'autre année sous la forme d'un cygne.
Aengus repart alors, et trouve Caer en cygne près d'un lac. Celle-ci est entourée de nombreux autres cygnes, tous portant une chaîne d'argent. Lors d'une conversation, Caer promet à Aengus de s'unir à lui s'il accepte de la laisser retourner au lac. Ils s'embrassent et s'endorment sous la forme de deux cygnes, et volent ensuite trois fois autour du lac. Ainsi, Aengus tint sa parole, et Caer resta avec lui.
English: One day, Aengus falls in love with pretty girl, the same one as that which haunts its dreams for a long time. With the assistance of his father, it seeks his name, and ends up discovering that it is the girl of Ethal Anubal, a prince of the Other World of Connacht, and that it prénomme Caer. Dagda and Aengus leave then in their tanks to go to ask for the hand of this young beauty. With their arrival, Ethal their advertisement that Caer is more powerful than Aengus, and than this one will have to conquer it without any help. However, Ethal is constrained to reveal that his/her daughter lives in alternation one year in the shape of a woman and the other year in the shape of a swan. Aengus sets out again then, and finds Caer in swan close to a lake. This one is surrounded of many other swans, all carrying a money chain. At the time of a conversation, Caer promises in Aengus to be linked with him if it accepts to let it turn over to the lake. They are embraced and fall asleep in the shape of two swans, and steal then three times around the lake. Thus, Aengus held its word, and Caer remained with him.
